Comments4 Teachers All Together

3/30/2010 7,8,9
As I was reading over this blog, there we very many interesting points made. The teacher I was looking over, his name is Robert Talbot from Louisville Colorado. He is a science educator and loves his job. He talks about the two approaches to defining expertise. The two are absolute approach and relative approach.

When i first looked at this blog, it was different than what I was used to looking at. Everything was set up on the side of the website as in recent post and pages. I really enjoyed reading over her post and to have a better understanding the way she taught. She is a mother and a great teacher. She loves to job and loves to change kids life. Educating kids is her passion and wouldn't want to change that for the world. Every post she talked about how she improves in her teaching as well as the students.

When i was looking over this blog, it came very interesting to me. Middle School matrix has a great set up in their program. Each blog talks about what they students did and school and how they are improving. Also it allows students like me to understand and learn from the things that are being taught in the classroom.

Homework April 25

7th Graders PLN
I was very impressed with what the 7th grader's PLN. She had everything that was needed. As i was looking at it, i saw many things that she had that i didn't and her was a lot bigger than mine. I have gotten many different websites and different learning tools through my comment4kids and my twitter and other tools that i have been using.

Two Questions
If you asked yourself if you were better today than you were yesterday, what would the answer be? As i ask myself this, this really makes me want to motivate myself to do better in everything i do and to be a better person as a whole. Everyone should have a sentence. This will keep us and a person in track and inline. You should stand up for what you believe in and be strong with your beliefs.

Survey Google Docs Form Project 5

Here is the summary of my Google Docs Form survey. I did my survey on Physical Education because I wanted to see how many people in the classrooms are really active and who are not. This gave me a good idea of where people are with the physical education.

Homework April 18

Education is an important part in we as teachers and students life's so that we can become successful in our jobs. Without education, where would we be? With education, I believe that technology plays an important roll and is needed in education in today's society. Technology is a tool that can help us at teachers to teach the students different and many more opportunities that will help them to become successful. Technology is always changing and always has room for more change. Why would we not want to use tools that would be easier for us in the classroom and easier for the students to comprehend and use. Technology is a advantage that we all need to take advantage of and start using more of it.

Comment4kids

Homework April 11

In my opinion, it is important for students to post and upload things or items to their blogs. Being able to post things on the blog allows the students to see their hard work and effort that they have done. Updating and showing the work on the blog gives an overlook on what they are learning inside and outside of the classroom setting. This will allow us as teachers to teach the students a world that goes beyond what we can imagine.

Here is one example that I have believe that shows the importance of using blogsHow and Why
This video really had a good explanation about how using blogs can change the way we learn and teach. I really enjoyed watching this.

Another example I decided to use is 21 Century

There third example i wanted to use was University of Padua

These video's really show a great amount of information on how blogging is important in the classroom. I liked how each video had its own way explaining blogging. These are very helpful tools that we can use for our classrooms and outside of the classrooms.

Comments4kids
This week on comments for kids, the kids really worked together to make their videos. You can tell the kids are enjoying themselves and learning a lot.

Homework April 4

When i was reading over Kaia's story, I was very shocked and impressed. I just can't believe a father would teach a 3 year old to world through the internet and technology. This made me think about when i get older and have kids, that they should know a lot and want to learn from the types of technology that we are using today. The relationship ship between the father and the daughter was very strong and i believe that helped with the learning that she was trying to learn from him. Kids learning at such a young age is a great thing to me because when they get older, not everything will it them at once. Who saids that we can't teach our kids at a young age? Wouldn't that be a great thing? Also, the father seemed a little timid to the fact of showing and teaching his daughter about the online world. If this was my kid, i would be a little nervous to because there are many people out there that can do bad things or things that they are not supposed to. But as a parents, teach your kids the problems and how you should and will avoid them. There are a lot of opportunities for us using the technology that we have today and i believe that there should be no limit on how much or how we use the technology given to us. I really enjoyed watching Kaia's story and i think it was very inspirational.

Comment4kids
This week in comment4kids Jordan had a presentation on the beach and swimming in the oceaon. Seems to me that he is learning a lot and enjoying himself.
